This apartment belongs to a successful Sydney-based businessman who wanted a luxurious and contemporary lock-up-and-go abode to suit his busy lifestyle. Initially it was meant to be a temporary solution until he found his forever home, yet three years in and he has so enjoyed his refurbished apartment and lifestyle that he has no intention of leaving.

The 3-bedroom apartment’s monochromatic patina reflets the style of our client; someone who is always meticulously groomed, and who proved to be the ideal muse for the design overhaul. Working with a tight budget, we went with a clean and minimalist approach, and invested in a few select high-end pieces. One of these was the custom mosaic feature wall in the bathroom that we designed, and which creates an overwhelming sense of escape and relaxation.

Filling in the gaps, we layered up the space with soft furnishings, focusing on smart fabric selections to create texture and to bring the space together as tactile and homely.

The client was so thrilled with the result and the experience of working with the two of us, that he continually brings us back on site to find new areas to revamp.
