We designed these spaces within this multi-residential development, with a sophisticated monochromatic feel that are brought to life with varying textures and finishes that simultaneously evoke a sense of space but also comfort.

With any multi-unit project, balancing tight budgets with quality finishes and furnishings is always a challenge. Having said this though, it really does require immense creativity and problem solving which are what we do best. The client wanted these short-term accommodation units that were small, compact spaces to have a high-end feel. We took inspiration from the adage, ‘dynamite comes in small packages.’

We began the process with making selections that could withstand a commercial application whilst still being aesthetically appealing and to brief. We chose darker toned timbers and textured fabrics that looked high end but that also weathered well.

The spaces have a sophisticated monochromatic feel that are brought to life with varying textures and finishes that simultaneously evoke a sense of space but also comfort.

The client, who was also the builder, was thrilled with the result and felt that the interior fit-out expertly complimented this project. This was confirmed by the real estate agent who commented that we’d made the next part of the process an easy one for him in finding suitable tenants in record time.
